As required by Unemployment, I have submitted 65 job applications to numerous colleges and universities from California to Nevada to Arizona to Washington State and on to Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, and other locations. I received six definite NOs, and participated in three Zoom interviews. I am feeling like age and ethnicity have something to do with not getting hired.

We live in a country that is anti-age, anti-color, anti-poor, and anti-thinking. With the advent of the Internet, you would think people would be more curious about people who grew up and lived without it. Not so. Young people have all the answers at the tip of their fingers. They are no longer concerned with the lived experiences of elders.
